How to Choose a Preset in Shopify Broadcast Theme

Broadcast ships with five complete style presets, each built around a different category — Broadcast (jewelry and accessories), Relay (kids'), Airwave (food and drink), Stellar (beauty), and Signal (clothing).

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Broadcast.
2. Click Theme settings, then look for a Presets option near the top.
3. Preview each of the five presets before committing — they differ in more than just color, with different section choices and promotional layouts tuned to their category.
4. Apply the one closest to your brand or product category, then fine-tune colors and fonts from there rather than starting from the theme's raw defaults.
5. Click Save.

A preset is a starting point, not a lock-in — every setting it changes (colors, fonts, section defaults) stays fully editable afterward, and picking the preset closest to your own category tends to save the most setup time since its demo content already reflects real category-specific merchandising choices.
