How to Choose a Preset in Shopify Force Theme

Force ships with five complete style presets — Force, Challenge, Statement, Kick, and Turbo — each bundling its own fonts, colors, and layout defaults. Turbo, the dark, high-contrast style, is the theme's most widely used look.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Force.
  2. Click Theme settings, then look for a Presets option near the top.
  3. Preview each of the five presets before committing — they range from Turbo's dark, high-velocity look to lighter, more conventional styling.
  4. Apply the one closest to your brand, then fine-tune colors and fonts from there rather than starting from the theme's raw defaults.
  5. Click Save.

A preset is a starting point, not a lock-in — every setting it changes (colors, fonts, section defaults) stays fully editable afterward.
