About GoToTheme Docs

GoToTheme Docs is where store owners, designers, and developers find practical answers about Shopify themes — organized by theme, then by topic, so you can find the exact setting you're looking for without wading through a general tutorial.

What this site is

Every guide here is written the same way: short, keyword-focused, and to the point. No long intros, no filler — just the steps for the thing you searched for, whether that's changing a color scheme, adding a mega menu, or setting up blog filtering.

Guides are grouped by theme first, since the same feature can live in a completely different place (or not exist at all) depending on which theme you're running. Within each theme, guides are grouped again by topic — getting started, homepage sections, product pages, collections, cart and checkout, navigation, and blog — so a whole theme's worth of documentation stays easy to scan.

What this site is not

GoToTheme Docs is independently operated and is not affiliated with Shopify or any theme or app developer covered on this site. Where a native theme feature falls short of what a guide's topic calls for, we say so plainly, and where a third-party app genuinely solves the gap, we mention it — but only when it's honestly relevant to the guide, never as a forced recommendation.
