How to Add a Gift Note in Shopify Broadcast Theme

Broadcast has a dedicated Gift note block for the cart, separate from a general order note — a real distinction for stores where gifting is common.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Broadcast.
  2. Select the Cart drawer from the Overlay section of the theme editor.
  3. Click Add block and choose Gift note.
  4. Set whether it pins to the bottom of the drawer.
  5. Click Save.

A gift note shows up as visible text on the order in your Shopify admin, the same as a regular order note — Broadcast just gives it its own labeled field so it doesn't get mixed in with delivery instructions or other cart comments.
