How to Enable Image Zoom and Hotspots in Shopify Broadcast Theme

Broadcast supports two related but different product-image features: zoom (inspect a photo up close) and hotspots (clickable points on an image linking to specific products or details).

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Broadcast.
2. Open a product page and select the Product images or Media block for zoom — turn on the zoom setting and choose click or hover as the trigger.
3. For hotspots, add an Image with hotspots section (commonly used on the homepage or a lookbook-style page rather than the product page itself).
4. Position each hotspot marker over the relevant spot on the image and link it to a product or a bit of text.
5. Click Save.

Zoom belongs on product pages where shoppers want photo detail; hotspots suit lifestyle images where you're calling out specific items within a scene.
