How to Add and Reorder Sections on the Shopify Horizon Homepage

Horizon's homepage is built entirely from stackable sections, so rearranging your page is a drag-and-drop job, not a code change.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Horizon.
2. Make sure the Home page template is selected in the page picker.
3. Click Add section at the point in the list where you want a new one, and choose from the available section types.
4. To reorder, grab the drag handle next to any section in the left-hand list and drag it up or down.
5. Click the trash icon next to a section to remove it.
6. Click Save.

Horizon has more section types than older themes — lookbooks and promo banners among them — so scroll the full Add section list before assuming a layout needs custom code.
