How to Show Recommended Products in Shopify Symmetry Theme

Recommended products is a native Symmetry section on the product page, using Shopify's built-in product recommendation algorithm — no app required for automatic cross-selling.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Symmetry.
2. Open a product page and click Add section (or check if it's already present as a default block near the bottom of the page).
3. Choose Recommended products (sometimes labeled "You may also like").
4. Set how many products to show.
5. Click Save.

This is the automatic, algorithm-driven option on the product page itself — Symmetry can also show recommendations inside the cart drawer, covered separately in the Cart & Checkout topic.
