How to Show Recommended Products in Shopify Impulse Theme

Recommended products is a native Impulse section, using Shopify's built-in product recommendation logic — no app required for basic cross-selling.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Impulse.
  2. Open a product page and click Add section (or check if it's already present as a default block near the bottom of the page).
  3. Choose Recommended products (sometimes labeled "You may also like" or similar).
  4. Set how many products to show.
  5. Click Save.

This is one of Impulse's real advantages over older free themes — Dawn has no equivalent native section, so store owners on Dawn typically need an app for the same result.
