How to Add Product Badges in Shopify Impulse Theme

Design

Product badges in Impulse go further than the automatic Sale/Sold Out labels older themes show — you can configure additional badge types and their styling.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Impulse.
  2. Click Theme settings, then Badges.
  3. Set the color and text style for each badge type Impulse supports (Sale and Sold out are automatic; check for additional custom badge options in this panel).
  4. Click Save.

Automatic badges (Sale, Sold out) are driven by real product/inventory data — you can't manually assign them to a specific product, only change how they look.
