How to Add a Request Quote Block in Shopify Empire Theme

The request quote block replaces the standard add-to-cart button, price, and quantity selector with a quote request form — a real native feature for products priced case by case rather than sold at a fixed price.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Empire.
  2. In the template picker, open Products, then create a new template (for example, named "Quote"), based on the Default product template.
  3. On this template, find the Price and Form blocks under Product information and hide or remove them, since this product won't show a fixed price or a normal add-to-cart form.
  4. Click Add block, choose Request quote, and position it where the price and form blocks used to be.
  5. Adjust the block's heading and any other settings it offers.
  6. Click Save, then assign this template to the specific products you want to sell this way, from that product's Theme template setting in the Shopify admin.

This only applies to whichever products you assign the template to — your regular catalog keeps the normal add-to-cart flow, so use this only for genuinely quote-based items like bulk or custom orders.
