How to Add Collection Page Navigation in Shopify Empire Theme

Empire can display your navigation menu directly in the collection page sidebar, alongside your filters — a native feature that helps shoppers move between related collections without going back to the header menu.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Empire.
2. Switch to a Collection template using the page picker.
3. Select the Product grid section (or its sidebar settings) and find the navigation menu display option.
4. Choose which menu to pull from — this is usually your main navigation menu, or a dedicated one you build specifically for this sidebar.
5. Click Save.

This is one of the genuine advantages of a paid theme like Empire over Shopify's free themes, which have no equivalent live sidebar navigation on collection pages.
