How to Add Breadcrumbs in Shopify Testament Theme

Breadcrumbs show a shopper the path back to where they came from — Home > Collection > Product — and it's a native Testament section rather than something you need to build with navigation menus.

Steps

In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Testament.
Open a product or collection page and click Add section (Breadcrumbs is available on collection, blog, article, page, cart, and customer account templates).
Choose Breadcrumbs from the section list.
Click Save.

Breadcrumbs matter most on stores with deep category structures — if your catalog is flat with only a handful of top-level collections, the extra navigation line adds less value.
