How to Add a Promo Banner in Shopify Warehouse Theme

Warehouse supports promo banners as a standalone homepage section, and Warehouse's feature set also lists in-menu promos — a smaller promotional tile placed inside a navigation dropdown.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Warehouse.
  2. For a standalone banner: click Add section, choose Promo banner (or similarly named), then set its image, text, and link.
  3. For an in-menu promo: go to Online Store > Navigation, open your header menu, and check whether the menu item you want to promote has an image or promo block option — this is set from the navigation structure rather than the theme editor's section list.
  4. Click Save.

A promo banner works well for a seasonal push or new arrivals across your whole catalog; an in-menu promo is better for pointing shoppers toward one specific category they're already browsing.
