How to Add Gift Wrapping in Shopify Warehouse Theme

Gift wrapping is a native Warehouse cart feature — shoppers can opt into it as a line item add-on before checkout, without you needing a dedicated app.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, set up a gift wrapping product (or variant) that represents the wrapping service itself, priced however you want to charge for it, if your setup requires one.
2. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Warehouse.
3. Click Theme settings, then Cart.
4. Find the Gift wrapping (or similarly named) setting and turn it on, linking it to the product you set up if that's how your configuration works.
5. Click Save.

Test the full flow yourself once it's live — add an item, opt into gift wrapping, and confirm it actually shows up as a separate line at checkout before relying on it for real orders.
