How to Show Recently Viewed Products in Shopify Warehouse Theme

Recently viewed is a native Warehouse section — it tracks what a shopper has looked at in their current session and shows it back to them, no app required.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Warehouse.
2. Open the page you want it on — product pages and the cart are the most common spots — and click Add section (or Add block, depending on where Warehouse places this option for that template).
3. Choose Recently viewed products.
4. Set how many products to show.
5. Click Save.

This is especially useful on a large catalog, where a shopper comparing several similar SKUs across multiple tabs or sessions can easily lose track of what they already looked at.
