How to Enable Quick Add to Cart in Shopify Refresh Theme

Quick add lets shoppers add a product to their cart straight from the collection grid — useful when most of your products don't need variant selection to buy.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Refresh.
2. Switch to a Collection template using the page picker.
3. Select the Product grid section.
4. Find Quick add and set it to Standard (a plus-icon button) or Bulk (quantity + add, useful for wholesale-style stores).
5. Click Save.

For products with required variants (like size or color), quick add opens a small popup to select options first, rather than skipping the choice entirely.
