How to Add a Countdown Timer in Shopify Prestige Theme

Prestige ships with a native countdown timer section — no app required for a basic sale-deadline or launch countdown.

Steps

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Prestige.
2. Click Add section and choose Countdown timer.
3. Set the end date and time your sale, drop, or promotion actually ends.
4. Set the heading text and what happens when the timer hits zero (hide the section, or show an "ended" message, depending on what's offered).
5. Click Save.

Set a real end date and follow through on it — a countdown that resets or never actually ends undercuts the sense of scarcity a luxury launch depends on.
