How to Add a Stock Counter in Shopify Prestige Theme

A stock counter shows shoppers how many units are left — a native Prestige block tied to your actual Shopify inventory numbers, not a fake countdown.

Steps

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Prestige.
  2. Open a product page and select the Product information section.
  3. Click Add block and choose Stock counter (or similarly named inventory/urgency block).
  4. Set the threshold — for example, only show the counter when stock drops below a certain number, so it doesn't display for well-stocked items.
  5. Click Save.

Because this pulls from real inventory tracking, it only works correctly on products where Track quantity is turned on under that product's inventory settings — for a limited-run luxury item, this is often the single most persuasive block on the page.
