How to Customize the Password Page in Shopify Colorblock Theme

Design

Turning password protection on or off is a store-wide setting, but the password page's actual design is a Colorblock template you can customize like any other page.

Steps

  1. To enable or disable password protection itself, go to Online Store > Preferences and check or uncheck Restrict access using a password. This is separate from theme design.
  2. To design the page, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on Colorblock.
  3. Use the page picker at the top and switch to the Password template.
  4. Edit the heading, description text, and background image/color like any other section-based page.
  5. Click Save.

The password page uses Colorblock's normal section system, so you can add, remove, or reorder blocks on it the same way you would on the homepage.
